Troubleshooting

App is not responding

This can happen for a number of reasons

Generic failure

This typically happens when Markdown Macro does not have permission to access the page the macro is on due to page restrictions. This is caused by a design decision Atlassian made at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/MIG-837 and we’re working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, you can add the Markdown Macros for Confluence user to your page restrictions and it should act as a workaround for this issue.

mmcc.atlasauthority.com is blocked

This happens if you migrated from Confluence Server or DC to Cloud. Atlassian does not grant apps access to spaces with restricted permissions. Atlassian is working on fixing the bug at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/MIG-905 In the meantime, we recommend that customers add the Markdown Macros for Confluence user to the space permissions to resolve the issue.

Gathering logs

If none of the above issues resolve your problem, please provide us with a HAR capture (https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/generating-har-files-and-analyzing-web-requests-720420612.html ) of the issue being reproduced.

It would also be helpful if you could export the browser console (https://support.shortpoint.com/support/solutions/articles/1000222881-save-browser-console-file ) and provide us with that as well.
