Attachments not being included in emails sent

Attachments are not being sent on the Notification email, even though the “Include attachments in notifications” checkbox is enabled in the Advanced settings.

 Instructions

To send the attachments on issue creation it is indeed necessary to add the Attachments field to the template:

  1. Add the “Attachments” field on the Notification Template;

  2. Create a test notification using this template;

  3. This setup will add both the file attached to the email as well as the link to download it via Jira.
