Audit Log

 

Accessing the Audit Log

  1. Go to the Manage apps section of Jira

  2. Pick Audit Log in the Notification Assistant menu on the left side

Configuring the Audit Log

  1. After accessing the audit log, you can click on the cog icon in the upper right:

  2. Configure the Retention Policy in days. When the retention policy is reached, audit log entries are deleted. The default value is 7 days.

  3. Configure the Default log level. By default we use the ALL log level.

    1. Available log levels are:

      1. ALL - includes SUCCESS, FAILED, and WARNING

      2. SUCCESS - only includes email sending success events

      3. FAILED - only includes a complete failure to send an email

      4. WARNING - only includes a partial failure to process a notification

      5. SUCCESS & FAILED - includes SUCCESS and FAILED

Misc

  • At this time, we do not log emails sent via the NAFJ Post Function, or Send Email From Issue functionality. This will be added in 7.3.1

  • You can delete all items in the Audit Log using the trash can in the upper right
