Using Server apps post February 2024

  1. Will the plug-in continue to be available after February 15, 2024?

  2. If it is available continuously, are there any constraints such as being unable to make configuration changes?

  3. Will it be possible to upgrade to versions released before February 15, 2024, after that date?

Answers

  1. The server version of our plugin will continue to work after February 15th. But it won’t receive any future bug fixes, security patches, and support (unless for migration purposes).

  2. The only constraint will be the discontinuity of support, bug fixes, and security patches as the Server version of the plugin will not receive any updates after that date. Notification configurations will still be available to be changed by the users.

  3. The app versions before February 15, 2024, will still be available for download. But to upgrade to newer versions (versions after February 15, 2024), you’ll need to have the plugin under a Data Center license.

It is possible to use a Data Center license on top of a Server app, however, the user tier must match.
