Advanced Template Functionality
Renaming a field
Notification Assistant for Jira supports renaming fields. To do so follow these steps:
Edit the template you want to modify
Click on a Issue Field block
In the Settings pane, change the
Field Name
property to whatever you want
Multiple Formats for Usernames
Notification Assistant for Jira can present a single user field in different formats. The supported formats are:
First Name (everything before the first space character)
Last Name (everything after the last space character)
Full Name
Full Name (email address)
Full Name (username)
Username
Email address
To configure this, you will need to:
Edit the template you want to modify
Click on a Issue Field block which is a single user type field
In the Settings pane, change the
User Field View
property to whatever you want
