Renaming a field

Notification Assistant for Jira supports renaming fields. To do so follow these steps:

  1. Edit the template you want to modify

  2. Click on a Issue Field block

  3. In the Settings pane, change the Field Name

    property to whatever you want

Multiple Formats for Usernames

Notification Assistant for Jira can present a single user field in different formats. The supported formats are:

  • First Name (everything before the first space character)

  • Last Name (everything after the last space character)

  • Full Name

  • Full Name (email address)

  • Full Name (username)

  • Username

  • Email address

To configure this, you will need to:

  1. Edit the template you want to modify

  2. Click on a Issue Field block which is a single user type field

  3. In the Settings pane, change the User Field View property to whatever you want
