The Markdown Macro lets you author your Confluence page using Markdown syntax. Your Markdown content will seamlessly appear in your Confluence page as if you had written it using Confluence’s editor.

To use this macro:

  1. Type /markdown in your Confluence page.

  2. Choose the “Markdown” option.

  3. Edit the macro.

  4. Type your Markdown content.

  5. Save the macro to see a preview of your Markdown while editing your Confluence page:
