Learn how you can use Notification Assistant for Jira to notify your users about all non-urgent changes that happened overnight.

Step 1. Start configuring an email template

Go to the Notification Assistant administration end create a new template. In the Blocks section choose Table View theme to receive the list of issues in one letter and configure the template according to your needs. Save.

Step 2. Create a notification

  • Go to the Notification Assistant administration and create a new notification;

  • Provide notification name and description;

  • In the JQL section enter the expression updated > startOfDay(-7h) that filters your issues:

  • Set the recipient to the assignee and add the email template you created before.

  • As a trigger, pick Days per Week where you provide days and time when to receive digest email:

This is all you have to do to configure an overnight digest email.
