The Markdown Macro lets you author your Confluence page using Markdown syntax. Your Markdown content will seamlessly appear in your Confluence page as if you had written it using Confluence’s editor.

To use this macro:

  1. Type /markdown in your Confluence page.

  2. Choose the “Markdown” option.

  3. Edit the macro.

    • If you see the following error, it means you have a missing license:

  4. Type your Markdown content.

  5. Save the macro to see a preview of your Markdown while editing your Confluence page.

  6. Save the page to see your Markdown content seamlessly integrated into your Confluence page:
